Is your dog sneezing at home because he has a cold?

Sneezing in dogs is not necessarily a cold. Sneezing is a manifestation of the explosive exhalation of airflow from the lungs through the mouth and nasal cavity, a defensive reflex of the nasal cavity to the stimulant. Occasional sneezing is normal. However, infections in the upper respiratory tract and irritation by certain irritants can cause frequent sneezing. It is common to see some watery snot next to the so-called cold nosepiece.
