The Turkish Van is very intelligent, lively, affectionate and easy to get to know its new home and owner. As the cat is an expert leaper, it can be found in almost any part of the home. They are active, playful and sleepy, and are often persistent in grabbing objects that interest them, much like dogs. They are suitable for domestic use.
