Is the Gordon Setter a good breed?

The Gordon Setter is very loyal to its owner and is a very gentle breed. They are friendly with children and many of our friends abroad have this medium sized dog as a companion dog. Plus the fact that it is particularly friendly with children makes it perfect as a companion dog.
