Pesticide residues on the ground are definitely harmful to cats and dangerous if they lick them. If it is an organophosphate or permethrin insecticide, it is very harmful to cats and is not recommended for use in the environment where cats are fed. Clinical signs are convulsions, salivation, stiffness of the limbs and in severe cases may lead to death.
