A cat licking a bit of cream will not cause any problems and owners need not worry too much. However, owners are advised to observe their cats. Because of the added sugar in the cream, cats are prone to lactose intolerance after eating it, which can cause diarrhoea in cats. If there is a slight diarrhoea, feed more clean drinking water and give her a probiotic to regulate her gut and a lighter diet.
