It is not quite normal for a cat to go a day without pooping. Normal cats pass stools once a day. When a cat does not pass stool for a day, the owner should observe that there is no reason in terms of illness that causes the cat to have a poor appetite and thus no stool formation. In addition, if the cat is eating normally and is in good spirits, but no stools are being passed, it may be constipated. In this case, laxative medication, such as a corker, should be used to help the cat to pass stools.
