Blood clots in the urine are usually seen in cats with clinical problems in the bladder and urethra. Damage to the mucous membrane within the bladder triggers haematuria, e.g. stones, lower urinary tract syndrome, car accidents, etc. This requires a visit to the hospital to determine the cause and treat the condition.
