Hello, the first thing to look at is whether it is a male or female dog and the location of the tumour. If surgery is a possibility it is recommended to check the nature of the tumour first, if it is benign it can be considered for surgical removal, if it is malignant a comprehensive assessment is recommended, malignant tumours can spread.
