How to tell when your cat has a throat infection

Laryngitis is divided into acute and chronic. Acute laryngitis mainly manifests itself as a cough, with no obvious systemic symptoms in mild cases. When the condition is more severe, there will be high fever, depression, rapid pulse and cyanosis of the mucous membranes, as well as a small amount of nasal discharge, swollen lymph nodes near the throat and reluctance to turn the head. When the larynx is oedematous, it can cause symptoms such as breathlessness and open-mouth breathing. Chronic laryngitis usually has no obvious symptoms and only presents with frequent coughing in the morning.
