How to tell when a dog has worm mites

Peristaltic mites are mainly found in the dog’s ears, mainly manifesting as pustules, follicular corkscrews, forming semi-dry peeling or greasy skin, or nodules of varying sizes above the skin surface, with varying degrees of itching, and in severe cases various parts of the carapace are also infected. Initially, there are red, moist projections around the hair follicles, which later become pustules. The most common symptom is alopecia, a shedding of sebum, a silvery-white, sticky epidermis with an unpleasant odour.
