How to tell if your dog is obese

In slightly chubby dogs and cats, the rib cage is barely visible and cannot be easily touched by light pressure on the rib cage of the chest, but when you touch the rib cage, you can feel a lot of fat covering it. If you look down, you can see a protruding waist, which means that your stomach has become larger, and if you look from the side you can see a sagging stomach, a thicker accumulation of fat around the neck (swimming circles) and even a flatter back. The more severe manifestations based on this are of course fatter.
