How to tell if your dog has an intestinal blockage

Severe intestinal obstruction in dogs can be accompanied by severe vomiting and inability to eat, usually immediately after eating, but the dog still has an appetite and wants to eat afterwards. The best way to confirm the diagnosis is to have a DR film taken, combined with ultrasound and barium meal.
