As one of the most complex and testing breeds of groomer’s skills, the Poodle has been styled for so many years with variations in complexity and classics in change. Commonly seen: the continental suit, trimming the face, throat, feet and base of the tail. The Hound, in which the face, feet, throat and underside of the tail are trimmed, leaving only a clipped-toothed cap-shaped coat, and the underside of the tail is trimmed to a pom-pom shape.
