You can generally select a purebred Golden Retriever from the following aspects: 1. Look at the head. There is a very obvious bony protrusion at the top of the head, without which the Golden is not pure. In the middle of the nose, a longitudinal straight line in a downward concave state, deeper than shallow. 2. Look at the mouth. The shorter and thicker the mouth of a Golden puppy, the better, while the adult dog is square and broad, but not long or pointed. Generally speaking, the thicker the mouth of the Golden, the wider the mouth when it grows up, the better the character when it grows up. 3 Coat colour. The coat of a purebred Golden is golden yellow and has a very good lustre and does not feel coarse or hard to the touch. 4 Forehead. The forehead is open and flat, with a pure gaze. 5 Eyes. Purebred fine adult Golden Retrievers should not show the whites of their eyes when looking straight ahead. 6 Paws. Very naturally tucked in, not spread out. 7 Tail. The tail of a purebred Golden is sloping downwards when standing still 8. Ears. The Golden’s ears should not be too large. Just pull the tips of the ears to just cover the front of the Golden’s eyes.
