How to de-sex a cat

Male cats are de-sexed differently from female cats. For male cats, an incision is made on each side of the scrotum and the testicles are squeezed out and removed. The de-sexing of female cats requires the removal of both the uterus and ovaries, which is more complicated and time-consuming than that of male cats. After de-sexing a female cat, special attention needs to be paid to the anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial treatment of the wound.
