Cats generally take around 58-62 days to become pregnant, counting from the end of the first breeding. However, the time of birth varies from individual to individual and owners need to judge whether their cat is close to giving birth based on its behavioural behaviour. In the days leading up to labour, cats may experience a drop in body temperature, loss of appetite, frequent urination and irritability.
