The entire pregnancy cycle lasts between 58 and 63 days and care should be taken to create a good environment for the cat after pregnancy to prevent illness. When mating, the expected date of birth should be taken into account, i.e. two months plus two days from the time of mating, e.g. if the cat is mated on 20 January, the expected date of birth will be 24 March.
