Rabies vaccination is required after being bitten by a vaccinated dog. Vaccinated dogs may still carry the rabies virus. After being bitten, squeeze out as much blood as possible, then rinse with running water for more than 15 minutes, disinfect the wound with alcohol or iodophor and then go for the vaccination.
