How many days does it take for a dog to recover from heatstroke?

If the symptoms of heatstroke are mild, such as panting and fine foam around the mouth, the dog can recover within a week after heatstroke treatment. In the case of severe heat stroke, when there is no relief and symptoms such as unconsciousness and unsteady walking occur, the dog needs to be taken to hospital immediately and most will gradually recover within 3-4 weeks, while severe heat stroke may lead to organ failure or even death.
