How long to give rabies vaccination

Puppies can be vaccinated for rabies after three months of age. It is best to get the rabies vaccine after the puppy has had its first three shots to prevent infectious diseases. The rabies vaccine is not a permanent vaccine and should be given once a year, with an interval of 11 months generally recommended. Rabies vaccination must be given when the dog or cat is healthy.
