Famous Chinese Mastiffs

Tibetan Mastiff originated from the Tibetan plateau, six thousand years ago by human domestication and human companionship to date. The Tibetan Mastiff’s unique martial appearance, open front, large head, full of ferocity. Outstanding performance, noble king temperament, is the world’s oldest and rarest large dog breed, known as the “Oriental God Dog”. It is a lion, not a lion, not a tiger, and is extremely fierce. In Tibetan serfdom, only kings and temple presidents had the right to breed them, and they were regarded by Tibetans as sacred dogs, celestial dogs and mounts of the living Buddha.
