Dogs were domesticated by ancient man from the grey wolf. With a history of domestication dating back tens of thousands of years, dogs are fully domesticated animals and can obey human commands completely. With a well-developed sense of hearing and smell and a poor visual performance, dogs are classified as working dogs and companion dogs according to the different needs of people in life and the evolution of the dog.
