It is best not to feed milk. The body structure of a human is completely different from that of a cat, and a human can drink milk but a cat may not. Milk is generally rich in protein, fat and lactose. Cats do need sufficient protein and other nutrients to grow and develop their coats, but the lactose in milk is a substance that can have a significant impact on cats. Cats’ bodies do not digest and absorb lactose well, so they can easily become lactose intolerant and suffer from diarrhoea after drinking milk. And this is mainly due to the unique body structure of cats, because of this, cats cannot drink milk.
