The Labrador Retriever, a large breed of dog, is ideally suited to be chosen as a guide dog or underground police dog and search and rescue dog and other working dogs that frequent public places, named for its origin in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It is one of the top three non-aggressive dogs, along with the Siberian Sled and Golden Retriever. The Labrador has the sixth highest IQ of any dog in the world. It is loyal, atmospheric, honest, gentle, sunny, cheerful, lively and has a very high IQ.
