It is a small, short-haired hound native to Africa. The back is short and lightly structured and the legs appear long in relation to its length. The long wrinkled head is proudly held high, the neck is rounded and arched to support the head and the tail is high and curled. The temperament is elegant and graceful and the overall behaviour is characterised by harmony, curiosity and alertness. Size: Ideal shoulder height for males is 17 inches and 16 inches for females. Personality: An aggressive and mischievous personality with a lot of energy and an affection for people and their proximity.
