The more common infectious diseases in cats include feline distemper, panleukopenia, feline herpes, feline nasal branch, feline culex virus and feline infectious peritonitis. Ringworm is also an infectious disease in cats, and distemper has a high mortality rate in young cats, especially those around two months old.
