As the old saying goes, it’s a medicine. If the medication is specifically for pet dogs, it is recommended that it be administered according to weight and will not cause poisoning. Do not just feed human ones. Many of the human medications are higher in composition and can easily cause poisoning. Pet hospitals will have pet specific antibiotics.
