Can dogs eat corn?

Do not give your dog direct corn kernels. Corn kernels are not easily digested, so we usually see a lot of undigested corn residue or kernels in the dog’s stool after eating them. In small dogs and puppies, their oesophagus is much narrower and choking can occur when kernels are fed directly. Also the protein content of corn kernels is relatively low and not very nutritious for dogs.
