Can dogs bite cats to death?

In some ways, dogs can bite cats. It is in the nature of the animal to protect its territory and to hunt for food. However, there are no absolutes and many people have cats, dogs and guinea pigs in their homes together and they all live together peacefully. This has to do with personality, breed, lifestyle, owner habits and teaching. If you want to minimise the risk, it is best if both animals are kept together from a young age.
