Whether an injury to a cat’s foot can heal itself depends on the circumstances. If the injury is minor and not serious it can usually heal itself. However, the owner should also help disinfect and clean the wound to avoid infection. If it is a serious injury such as a muscle strain or fracture, it will not heal on its own and should be taken to hospital for examination and treatment.
