Can cats brush their teeth with human toothpaste?

Cats should not use human toothpaste to brush their teeth, they should use toothpaste for cats because their oral environment is different from that of humans. Secondly, cats do not spit out toothpaste froth. If human toothpaste is used and accidentally ingested, vomiting and diarrhoea are likely to occur.
