Subcutaneous fluid accumulation in dogs does not kill them. It can be caused by vaccinations or trauma. If the fluid is from a vaccination site, rub the dog gently or use a warm towel to warm it up. If vaccinations are ruled out and the fluid is more swollen and larger, a hospital visit is recommended.
