The Bully was bred by dog breeders in the mid-1990s from a combination of American native Staffordshire Terrier and Pit Bull Terrier bloodlines, originally intended to be used as a companion dog. Although the Bully may look fierce and tough, they are in fact friendly, gentle and very loyal. They are calm, cheerful, intelligent, obedient and, like the breed they were originally bred for, ideal as a family companion.
