These hounds all have the trademark large ears. They have a seemingly mute personality, but are intelligent, friendly and sensitive, but stubborn, not easy to train and very clingy, and may bark with anxiety when left alone for long periods. Due to its long and short stature, it has a heavy skeletal load and is a voracious eater, so it should be kept under control.
