The ideal American Curly-Eared Cat is well-proportioned and has just the right amount of muscle. Females generally weigh from five to eight pounds and males from seven to ten pounds. The head is slightly oval in shape, with an appropriately long, straight nose, without nasal knuckles, extending from the base of the eyes up to the forehead. The curly-eared cat is gentle and sweet, likes to sit on people’s laps to be stroked, gets on extremely well with people and likes to be pampered. Numbers are currently low and they are hard to find.
