The Afghan Hound is a noble dog, one of the oldest hound breeds, with a noble appearance and a superb attitude, without any sign of plainness or roughness. The dog is relatively well bred. It has a calm personality and is not easily angered. The only drawback is the coat, which needs regular grooming.
