How to look at the Labrador character

The more pure the color of the Labrador’s coat, the better the quality. The Labrador’s hair color is generally yellowish, dark yellow, black, white, cream, and chocolate, with yellowish being the worse color, and the more to the right the better. The more shapely the ears, the better the Labrador’s character. Good Labrador ears are the right size, in an inverted triangular shape, naturally hanging low on both sides of the head. The wider and cleaner the nose, the better the Labrador’s character. If the Labrador’s nose is sticky, it may not be healthy. The larger and fuller the paws, the better the Labrador’s character; if the paws are too small and very thin, the Labrador’s character is poor. Likewise, a larger, broader head, the Labrador’s character is good; a narrower head, the Labrador’s character is poor.
