Dogs shivering while huffing

Dogs huffing and puffing is for heat dissipation or breathing difficulties, while shivering is mostly a neurological symptom caused by cold or disease, so dogs shivering while huffing and puffing is likely to be caused by heatstroke or disease. Therefore the owner needs to check whether the dog’s body temperature is too high, can be judged by touching the nose, generally moist cool nose is normal. If the symptoms are serious, you also need to go to the veterinary hospital for examination, especially for the heart, lungs and other organs to exclude the possibility of heart disease and respiratory infections. Normally in the hot summer, dogs are subject to frequent huffing and light shivering, as long as there is no loss of appetite, poor spirit and other abnormalities, there is generally no major problem.
