The dog’s eyes will slowly open 7-15 days after birth, but each dog’s constitution is different, and some dogs need to wait until 17-18 days before they start opening their eyes, so the owner had better not rush. Puppies that have not been opening their eyes then need to go to the hospital for a timely examination to avoid delaying the condition. At birth, most dogs can only sense the world through touch and smell, so they cannot grasp specific directions. Some puppies may not be able to grab milk to eat, and then the owner needs to place it at the mother’s teat, and if there is an obvious thinness, then the owner needs to raise it directly alone and use goat milk instead of breast milk in order to improve the survival rate.
