The Bichon Frise has a white coat and is nicknamed the “Curly Bichon Frise”, which is a great value, but one of the more troublesome aspects of raising a Bichon Frise is that it requires constant grooming. We often see Bichons in all kinds of cute shapes, looking adorable. So how do you groom a Bichon Frise? What are the steps of grooming? Step 1: Comb the coat Before grooming your Bichon, you must comb its coat to clean out any lingering dirt. Put the dog on the table and comb from the head to the tail in the direction of the smooth coat, basically about three times. Step 2: Adjust the water temperature to the right temperature and after squeezing the anal glands out of your Bichon Frise, start showering him, from front to back, making sure the entire body is wet. Next, apply the bathing solution evenly to the dog and rub the coat gently. During this process, make sure the Bichon’s ears and toes are cleaned as well, so that you don’t miss these areas. Step 3: Wash and blow dry rinse all of the shower solution off of your Bichon with water, then wrap your dog in a bath towel and carry him to the grooming table. Use a hair dryer to blow dry any residual moisture on the dog up to the roots of the coat and comb it through incidentally, without letting the coat get tangled. Step 4: Shave off the stray hairs. First shave the stray hairs on the limbs, especially the middle of the toes, then shave the abdomen, and finally shave the hair at the root of the tail where it meets the anus, which many groomers shave into a “V”. Step 5: Cut out the shape Bichon’s long hair can be cut out in many shapes, depending on the owner’s choice. Starting from the line of the dog’s feet, all the way to the back, rear drive, waist and abdomen, chest, head, and finally to do the overall trim, generally will be cut out into curved lines, Bichon Frise looks very Q cute and lovely.
