Why can’t guide dogs touch

The reason why guide dogs should not be touched is that touching a guide dog will distract the dog’s attention, thus affecting the guide dog’s work and putting the blind person’s life at risk. Generally speaking, when you see a guide dog, pedestrians should try to follow the “four no’s and one question” principle: no feeding, no petting, no calling, no refusing, and take the initiative to help and ask the blind person. Guide dogs are working dogs that are trained from birth or 2 months old. Most domestic guide dogs are Golden Retrievers and Labradors, as both are exceptionally obedient and have a long working life, about 8-10 years.
