Why the earth dog will be blue-eyed

Why do groundhogs have blue eyes? That’s because when native dogs are young, their eyes are blue when they first open them. This is because the melanin in the dog’s eyes does not develop until a few weeks after the dog is born. When there is no melanin in the eye, we see the blue color reflected and refracted from the dog’s iris. As the dog grows older, melanin begins to be produced in the iris and it is the pigmentation of the melanin that eventually gives the dog’s eyes their different color. In albino dogs, you will find that their eyes are white, pink or even red. The white color is the effect caused by lighting. As for pink and red, they come from the capillaries in the dog’s eyes. These blood vessels are normally covered by the color formed by melanin and are only visible in the eyes of dogs that lack melanin.
