The worms that dogs carry are divided into internal roundworms and external parasites. For external worms, it is best to deworm once a month; for roundworms carried in the stomach, they need to be removed once every three months. Timely deworming will not only protect your dog’s health, but also prevent yourself from being infected. Puppies should be dewormed after 2 months, and preferably once a month until they reach 6 months. Because the immunity and resistance of puppies are still poor, and the mother can pass some worms to her puppies through the placenta and breast milk. Therefore, deworming should be done more frequently. After six months, once every three months will be sufficient.
