There are several types of Corgi

There are several types of Corgi There are three types of Corgi 1. Cardigan-Welsh Corgi The Cardigan-Welsh Corgi, commonly referred to as the Cardigan for short. The Cardigan Welsh Corgi, which is one of the oldest herding breeds, is longer in size than the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, with longer and heavier leg bones and a poorer texture of the hair on the back of the spine; but temperamentally, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi appears more unstable, easily agitated, and far less easily tamed than the Cardigan. The Cardigan’s coat color is mainly black and white, but also sable, with basically no yellow hair present, making it very easy to identify. Compared to the Pembroke Welsh Corgi, the larger ears of the Cardigan are also one of the main signs that distinguish the two. The Cardigan is gentle, calm, loyal, friendly, and adaptable. Never shy or vicious, the personality is more stable than the Pembroke Corgi and more suitable for domestic use. Shoulder height 27-32 cm, weight 11-17 kg. Pembroke Welsh Corgi The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is basically the big ass that you see in movies and TV shows or online photos. The historical origin of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi is much later than that of the Cardigan, but it is also from an old breed, and there is no reason why this breed, which originated in 1107, should be considered a new breed. The Pembroke Welsh Corgi has many colors and is well known for its yellow and white, tricolor, sable, but also red, black, and tiger spot. As the most popular type of Corgi, people know the most about it, but compared to the Cardigan, the Pembroke Corgi is still more mischievous and easily excited, and the overall size is more slender than the Cardigan, and once crossed with the Cardigan, there were many Pembroke Corgis with many colors of fur, but now it has stopped. Shoulder height 28-31 cm, weight 10-12.8 kg. 3. Swedish Corgi The Swedish Corgi, which you may have heard very little about, is also one of the Corgis. It originated in the 6th century and was bred by Swedish farmers in the 8th century to herd cattle and sheep. There is a reason why the Swedish Corgi has been heard so little in human ears, the breed was endangered in 1942 and the numbers were very small. Canine experts made great efforts to revive the breed. It was not until 1948 that it was recognized by the Kennel Club as one of the registered dogs. The coat is shorter than the other two types of Corgis and requires more breeding space. The coat color varies from gray, red, or fawn, sable, and a mixture of the above. The Swedish Corgi is the largest in size compared to the other two types of Corgis. 31-35 cm in height at the shoulder and 13-17 kg in weight

The difference between the Swedish Corgi and the Welsh Corgi The most obvious difference between the Welsh Corgi and the Swedish Corgi is that the coat color is different, but it is generally difficult to see the Swedish Corgi for sale in China. The hesitant Swedish Corgi has a gray coat color and looks more like a wolf, but once you see the little short legs on the side it still makes it appear to be a cute prototype.
