Bichons start to replace their teeth at 3 or 4 months of age, and the tooth replacement usually starts with the first milk incisor, then the second and third milk incisors and canines, and finally the milk molars. Teething usually lasts about five months, so you can prepare a teething stick to help your dog change teeth. It is not recommended to feed your dog food that is too hard during the teeth changing period to avoid discomfort with the new teeth.
