Dogs will not die if they eat mango kernels, but the kernels may get stuck in the dog’s gastrointestinal tract causing foreign body gastroenteritis, and if the dog is also allergic to mangoes, the two may combine to cause acute symptoms of hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. It is not recommended to give your dog mangoes at will. It is generally not recommended that dogs eat mangoes because they are highly allergenic. Some dogs are fine with mangoes, perhaps because they have no allergic reaction to them or have a low intake, but this is not guaranteed for all dogs.
