How often to deworm the dog

How often should your dog be dewormed? Dogs can usually be dewormed after one month of life, once a month until 6 months of age, and then every three months after that. By the time the dog reaches adulthood, deworming can be done twice a year. If the owner suddenly discovers that the dog has an internal parasitic infection, he or she needs to feed the dog once after a deworming, and then again at an interval of about half a month to completely remove the parasites. It is important to note that deworming is best done at a time that avoids the time of vaccination, with at least five days between the two. If you need to breed your dog, you will need to have your dog dewormed beforehand to prevent the parasites from being transmitted to your puppy after you become pregnant.
