Look at the nosepiece The change in the nosepiece is an important sign to determine whether the dog is sick or not. Healthy dogs have a cool and moist nasal end, a little water droplets, when the dog is dry at the opposite end or nasal cavity with a plasma, mucous or purulent discharge that is sick. Look at the oral cavity to see if the dog’s mouth has no redness, ulcers and rotten spots, there is no special smell, swallowing there is no difficulty, etc., healthy large mouth clean and moist, pink, tongue is bright red, no bad breath, not flowing birth. If the oral cavity is red, swollen, salivating, with halitosis, then there is disease.
Look at the anus to see if the dog’s anal area is clean, there is no inflammation, redness or ulcers, etc.. Healthy dogs around the anus clean and free of foreign bodies, such as with feces or redness, mostly related to gastrointestinal diseases, infectious diseases or local inflammation. Look at the skin to see if the dog’s coat has not shed, the strength of the skin’s elasticity, and whether there are rashes, blisters, scabs and ulcers on the skin. Healthy dog’s coat is smooth, lustrous, good skin elasticity, if the dog’s coat is constantly shedding, rough and no light choice, dry skin, lack of elasticity, or see defects such as nodules and ulcers is a sick dog.
