The Pomeranian can remember its owner for up to 1-2 years, but can do so within a few weeks or months if it has a new owner and the owner is good to it. Pomeranians generally start to recognize their owners only at 3-4 months of age, and the longest can be postponed to 6 months of age, mainly because the dog’s brain development before 3 months of age is still immature, so the memory is relatively low, it is difficult to firmly remember the owner, and there is no concept of the owner.
