What is CKU? CKU (China Kennel Union), the professional and technical branch of the Chinese Working Dog Management Association, is the only official member organization of FCI in China, and has full purebred management and breeding registration in China. (FCI is the World Kennel Union, the largest and oldest canine organization in the world.) What can CKU do? Breeding dog registration: purebred dog identification, pedigree, international export and breeding certificate issuance; purebred dog microchip registration, paternity testing and hip (elbow) joint testing system for these 3 types of purebred dog pedigree testing work. Organizing dog events: Promoting and executing dog events, releasing CKU points list of participating dogs; translating FCI competition rules, breed standards and judging matters, maintaining contact with foreign associations and FCI . Organize industry training: Develop training syllabus for dog trainers, dog groomers and other related practitioners, supervise and guide daily teaching, and gatekeep professional qualification examinations.
